SAM Template Log Parser (Linux/Unix Script)

Hi,

I am using the standard Out of the Box SAM Template Log Parser (Linux/Unix Script). One of the Templates is "Total strings found". Does anyone know how long it keeps the data for? I checked the script and did not find a retention period.

I am trying to display the string found only for today. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Retention period for all SAM Templates is defined in global settings: SETTINGS > POLLING SETTINGS

As for the Today's data - you can change zoom level on the landing page of your SAM component to make it one day (it will have global effect however and will be applied to all components as well). Therefore, if this is just one component that needs Today's data - I would suggest to build separate report or even dashboard (view) for just this specific case.
