How can i configure Orion to "read" my linux /var/log/messages file.

We have a redhat based linux server that has the file /var/log/messages.

We have a custom application that writes error messages to the /var/log/messages file.

We want our Orion product to be able to "query" or "parse" the /var/log/messages file and report on specific errors.

 

can you help please? very appreciated!

Could you send /var/log/messages to syslog and use Orion to parse the syslogs?
