I am using a very simple alert in order to get informed about interfaces going down. I have created several groups and I need to get informed for node interfaces going down only in one specific group (i.e. Group A).
Problem is, I'm getting alerts from node interfaces going down from other groups as well. I have triple checked and there are no same nodes being overlapped in different groups.
This is how I created the WEB alert.
Interface status is equal to down
AND
Group name is equal to Group A
After this simple alert didn't work for some time, I decided to play more advanced and use custom properties in Groups. This didn't work either (still getting alerts from node interfaces going down from other groups as well).
I feel that I'm missing something very simple here, any suggestions?
