No Hardware health sensor for Autonomous Access Points

I am new to Solarwinds and NPM so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have discovered my devices however none of my autonomous access points provide the hardware model and service tag information i require. When i look in the List Resources for any of the AP's there is no option to select Hardware Health sensors and i guess this is why its not pulling in that information.

Can someone please explain in layman's terms how to report on this information.

My first question would be, did Orion figure out what kind of equipment it was beyond an AP? Get the vendor and model right? If not, you might want to report the new device to Solarwinds on this thread:

What brand/model is it? If Cisco, in "Edit Node", there is a drop down to choose which Cisco MIB you use for hardware health polling, under the "Hardware Health" section of it.

If none of that works and you need to get it done quickly, you can always do a "Universal Device Poller" with the MIBs needed to get that info. You can either look it up or use SNMPWalk to figure it out.

After discovery when you are given the option to import the devices it identified the make and model OK Cisco 1242.
