Is the EOC traffic encrypted?

I know EOC is brand spanking new and the questions will be flooding but here goes...

I read the documents that said the the traffic between the central Orion and Remote Orion serves via EOC is WAN optimized but is that data encrypted? Is it open text?

Yes it is encrypted using SSL.
