is it possible for the solarwinds to determine the number of routes and be displayed on the web brower? please advise.

Not for the web browser- yet the Engineer's Toolset offers a couple of tools; the Trace Route tool and the Subnet List Tool, which builds a list of subnets by scanning route tables.
how about if i am going to generate a report using report writer? would it be possible for me to make a route tables report using the report writer and just have that report posted on the browser by adding an additional tab on the menus?
This would be possible with Custom SNMP polling - Get Table, which would allow you to get the routing table off a router.
Apparently this will be available in Solarwinds V9 due out in Q2 this year.
