Connect Now Function

I am currently trialing version 10 of NPM and I have found the 'Connect Now' function a bit hit and miss when creating Maps in Network Atlas.

Am I right in thinking that devices will only link if they have been discovered within the same network sonar discovery. I assumed when I read that devices needed to be discovered rather than manually added for the links to be picked up with Connect Now that I could add additional discoveries to find new devices and these would work but having experimented it seems only those devices in the same discovery will link.

Any thoughts on this, confirmation etc, if this is right then it makes the Connect Now function less useful the way we work here.

At this time, kreases, you are correct. ConnectNow is only able to draw connections between objects discovered within the same discovery. The solution is to define a discovery that includes all nodes you want or expect to automatically connect. For more information about ConnectNow, see the following KB articles:
