We are being urged to upgrade from 10.4 to 10.4.1. Issues with the CPE were problematic to say the least, so we want to apply caution before adopting 10.4.1. Is anyone running this in production yet? Any issues to report?
I haven't yet Dennis, but I will be rolling it out here at my current engagement in a couple weeks.
I can say that it went through at least 3 beta's and an RC cycle, so most of the issues if any at all should be worked out. This is a minor release also which focused on the CPE updates that were needed from removing the CPE Application and a bit of lost functionality, so it should have minimal changes to the core of the product.
holding back, waiting for other people to report errors. We've already had to do hotfixes with 10.4 problems , so I'm going to wait on this one.
We are upgrading our systems and hadn't seen anything to speak of. Usually with a service release like 10.4.1, the intent is a release solely designed at addressing issues from the full release, in this case 10.4.

Upgraded two days ago. Nothing glaringly problematic (yet).
Upgraded a couple of days ago, and so far nothing bad to report. I like seeing multiple IP addresses finally reported for multi-interface nodes, too!
We upgraded yesterday. Nothing to report so far.
I am seeing something a bit unusual. On some Netflow charts, I'm seeing dummy titles in the chart view - placeholders like 'chart title'.
Anyone else seen this?
Hi Stephen,
Do you have any custom properties defined and populated? If so, did you experience any issues related to custom properties after ugprading to 10.4.1 ? btw: what version were you running prior to upgrade ?
I saw this posting re: 10.4.1 upgrade and now I'm concerned http://thwack.solarwinds.com/message/191976#191976
Ellen.
I took the plunge, and it works. No data loss. Woo hoo!
is the custom property editor fixed?
I haven't come across any issues yet and am confident using it in production. It does have some benefits compared to the old CPE.
It's a lot better and getting better each time. You now have access to the CPE editor from the manage nodes page which is nice, and you can still export your Properties to excel.. Mass edit and import them back in. Then you can even go a step further and you can select that property to have drop down menus and it will Auto Populate the values you placed in the excel that you imported. This makes it quick and easy to build pre defined values in the new CPE.
