ICMP Ping Only for Status & Response Times - SNMP for Node & Interface Statistics

Hi I need to be able to allow only ICMP Ping for all devices Status and Response times , and leave snmp just for stats collections per node and interface.. can this be done?

I do not wish to lose any stats for nodes or interfaces, I just want to alter all nodes to use icmp ping.

Max Status Polls Per Second	80

If you have the same amount of items in both the icmp and snmp status polling index, i want to be able to only allow icmp ping for this request.. in which case i want to have snmp status polling index = 0 .. If it was only using status polling via icmp ping then the index and stats for snmp status polling should never change but they are!
