ALERTING with Variable ${ApplicationStatus} in component "Process Monitor WMI"

Hello!

I have a very simple template with one component "Process monitor WMI" to a process. It's used on 18 nodes.

I set the memory warning threshold on "greather than 10%" and critical threshold on "greater than 15%". In fact, if this process use more than 100MB of RAM we know it's going in a memory leak.

This works fine, I receive the correct status of the application in the events.

I configured alerting on this application:

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Application Name is equal to LM

Application Status is not equal to Up

However in the mail I receive, in case of Up or Down the variable ${ApplicationStatus} doesn't work, that's what I receive:

LM on ABWLM5 is ${ApplicationStatus} at 28 June 2011 23:30

Do you have any idea why?

${ApplicationStatus} is a valid variable when the Type of Property to Monitor is set to APM:Component. Check your trigger condition to confirm what it's currently set to.
