NPM 12.4 - Error during contacting servers: Another Installation Session is still Active, you have to disable it first.

We were doing an upgrade to 12.4. We started an centralized deployment and had to cancel it. Now when we go to the "Updates available" tab and try to run the deployment we get this error:

We have a support case open but support seems like they have never seen this error before and are just having us run diagnostics. Let me know if anyone has resolved this error. It seems like a bug in NPM 12.4.

Easiest way to overcome this particular error is to go to DB and look for table SWA_InstallationSession. There will be at least one row with field isActive set to true - make it false and maybe give SolarWindsAdministration service a reboot.

Thanks Kacperm. I was wondering what table to check. I will check this table set to false if I can.

Kacperm, that tip was spot on. I opened the database manager and the "SWA_InstallationSession" table. The table with row "Eula" had the "IsActive" box checked. After enabling table editing and unchecking the box I was able to run the "Updates available" option. I really wish I had known this during the upgrade.
