I have all of my routers and switches sending their syslog information to Orion. I also have a few alerts looking for specific strings.
The issue that I am having is that in the hostname column it always shows the IP address. I've tried adding them to DNS and "logging origin-id hostname" to know avail.
Any ideas? I just want something meaningful to show when an alert is generated, rather than the IP address.
