Error while adding nodes to NPM....Could not load file or assembly 'Infragistics2

Hello Team,

Kindly advice on how to resolve below error, I am running Orion NPM version 11.5.

Could not load file or assembly 'Infragistics2.WebUI.Shared.v8.2, Version=8.2.20082.1000, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Hello Team,

I managed to get my server issue resolved first by opening the ticket with Solarwinds support team, I was advised to replace Infragistics2.WebUI.UltraWebChart.v7.3 with the one they emailed me

Infragistics2.WebUI.UltraWebChart.v8.2. Also I had to run configuration wizard to repair the services and website. I would suggest updating to 11.5.2 and installing Hotfix 2. This is the newest version with many functionalities and many bugs fixed.

First thing I would try is running the SolarWinds Configuration Manager, and repair everything.

Nine times out of ten, this will resolve missing/corrupted file links.

Is this happening on an Additional Web Server?

If you save the error log (below error message), does it say where where the web.config file is located? Example: C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\xxx\web.config line 39 ?

I'm afraid running Configuration Wizard won't solve this issue, neither will rebuilding the website.

It's best you create a ticket for this issue.

It looks like you are missing a .dll "Infragistics2.WebUI.Shared.v8.2.dll" As suggested you could run the config wizard to see if that corrects the issue, also you could run a repair of the orion core. If you don't feel comfortable with either of those options open a ticket with solarwinds and they will assist you. If you are on 11.5 I would upgrade to at least 11.5.1 there are a lot of fixes in that upgrade, that alone will most likely resolve your issue
