Can't open or create new Discovery database

When run "network Performance Monitor Discovery" and click "New discovery database" or "Open Discovery Database", select the database file, then appears an error "Error creating Discovery Engine, activex component can't create object"
I tried reinstalling the MDAC and Jet 4.0 engine but the it still showing error...

This started happening after I had trial version of Engineers edition and now that I removed it, can't create database error. I reinstalled the trial version of engineers edition and it worked fine again.

I ended up sending an e-mail to support. They recommended that I reinstall Orion over itself, which did work.
