Syslog issue on NPM 12.4

I just built a new instance of Solarwinds, NPM 2019.4. I am receiving Syslog messages. I can go to Alerts and Activity and click on Syslogs and see the syslogs. However, when I add a widget to my home page related to Syslog, it will not populate. The widget does not display. If I click on Customize Page, it shows the message Widget is hidden on dashboard, there is no data to show. Has anyone seen this before? This is on a system that does not connect to Internet. I have called Solarwinds support but they want diagnostics I cannot send.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The build in syslog widget doesn't seem to work anymore so to see syslogs associated with a node, I added a SWQL query widget to the view with the following code
