We are using Solarwinds Orion 9.5 and I am looking to add MIB of the san storage msa 2320fc to monitoring the Harddisk status and the FAN status , temp, and so on
Is anybody know the MIB of this SAN
I'm not too familiar with the SAN storage works solution, however I imagine if all the drives are contained within a single server and you have the HP insight SNMP tools installed, you might be able to use the Compaq MIB base to find these.
IIRC it's 1.3.6.1.4.238 or somewhere near that.
Otherwise HP has the MIB you can download and view or you can try to perform a SNMP Walk against the SAN to see which OID's respond.
We have historically seen where the majority of SANs do not report Volume information via SNMP. You will want to take a look at Storage Profiler, which should be able to communicate via the SMI-S Provider to get the volume information.
