how to use Solardwin Orion NPM to write in Sql server data base

Hello!

I want to know how i can use Solardwind Orion NPM to collect some informations(power emitted, traffic, packets loss, jitter, latency) from the MIBs of equipments which are in production.

Actually, i have installed Solardwin Orion NPM in my computer but i don't know how to do to configurate Solardwin such a way that it will collect regularly those parameters and put them in my data base (which is Sql Server 2005).

Please help!

Hello Guy,

NPM uses Microsoft SQL server and 2005 in one of the supported versions. If you want to configure NPM to access your existing SQL server use the Configuration Wizard Start -> All Programs -> SolarWinds Orion -> Configuration and Discovery - Configuration Wizard. Select the database option and point NPM to your database. Most of the polling you mention NPM does right out of the box. For Jitter download the IP SLA module and give that a try.
