HP MSM720 not listing any managed/thin Access Points

I have downloaded and installed a trial version of Orion NPM 11.5. I am able to add my HP WiFi Controller MSM720 and poll it using SNMPv3

It looks to be correctly identified as a Wireless Controller. The release notes for 10.4 here SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor Release Notes state that the controller is supported.

"HP MSM720 and MSM765 Integrated Wireless Controllers are now correctly identified and monitored as wireless devices."

However I do not see any of the controlled APs (there are 29 HP 425 APs managed by this controller). Hence I cannot add them to a Wireless Heat Map.

Could anyone please help?

Currently Wireless Heat Maps are supported with modern Cisco WLC. We're looking at expanding support to other vendors for the future.

Ok given the heat maps are not supported can I still see clients connect and a list of managed APs on the controller?

This information would be helpful.

Can I still plot the APs on the Atlas tool and see them on the map?

This would be helpful for troubleshooting and the like.

Indeed, NPM 11.5 was tested against MSM720/760.

APs can be individually managed and placed on Atlas floorplan maps.

Hi Rob,

The issue I have is that I have no APs showing in the area highlighted below.

Also on the WiFi tab I see no option to list APs or the clients.

So when I am in Atlas I see no APs to drag anywhere and add to the map.

Please advise what I can do to fix this.
