SSHD LOG Files using amount of Disk Space

Hi Everyone,

I have been notice about my Orion Server is almost full on disk space, then navigating through the server I see the following folder with the Biggest TXT files that I have ever seen, a 12 GB TXT file.

Researching about this files, I don't found any documentation related this files. I just indetified that all follow the name pattern sshd_[HASH or ID].txt

My question is.... ORION depends from these files to make a main funtion or I can delete them. Someone have an idea abou Why these files are so BIG SIZE?

Hey tavo.villanueva do you have NCM installed?

The reason I asked is because these files are by design temporary log files that capture the session when the devices are being used. However for some reason they seem to have been stuck.

You can try to stop any process for SCP/SFTP server

Then delete any existing files.

Lets see if it will keep reasonable thereafter.

I don't have NCM installed, but I have the Following:

NPM

SAM

NTA

VNQM

I have to review if SAM is using SSH to monitor some apps.

But, If these are Temporaly files, Can I delete them without any problem from my Orion Server?

yep those can be deleted. But I do not know exactly which module is using this folder so I guess before deleting these files, stop all Orion services.

wowo... Just another thing, I'm wondering if I can find this information on a SW KnowledgeBase or something like that. Because I try to found doc/information about this "issue" but nothing, this is only a "just in case" jaja
