I have a big problem with Orion SLX Edition 8.5.1 (SP3).
OS: Win2K3 SP2 (Last updates);
SQL Server 2K5 EE (SP2);
After installation proces lunch Orion "Configuration Wizard". After this step configuring:
Database Settings:
SQL Server: (My server name: monser);
Select: "Use Windows Authentication";
Database Account:
Select: "Create a new database: NetPerfMon";
Select: "Create a new Account: SolarWindsNPM" with Password;
Website Settings:
IP Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx;
Port: 80;
Website Root Directory: "C:\InetPub\SolarWinds";
Service Settings:
I select all services
After this step I see:
Configuring Orion
Updating Orion Database. Procesing OrionCoreDatabaseScheme.dbConfig file ...
Note: The time required ... ...
It's been almost 6 hours that I waited to see if it would continue. The process has not completed and I need the server back in a useable state.
