OS Language Requirement

Hi,

Does NPM support Japanese OS?

Japanese characters seem to be ok on Web console, but they are garbled on System Manager and Report Writer.

If you can use an english version of the OS it should fix the problem. Hopefully that's not too much of a problem for you since right now SolarWinds doesn't officially support Japanese yet.

Are you browsing to NPM webserver from the webserver machine or another remote client? If it's from a remote client (that has the language extensions for clients browser/OS) then it's possible that you don't have the characters or foreign language setting you need on server where you run System Manager and Report Writer from. Interesting problem.

There is no problem related to Japanese characters on NPM web console from both the webserver machine and another remote client.

- Some scales of System Manager charts are garbled.

- Schedule values of Report Scheduler table are garbled.

Should I use English OS to avoid these problem?
