How does Orion Compare to WhatsUpGold Premium

I just want an idea on how much better Orion is to WhatsUpGold Premium. I am leaning towards purchasing Orion for my company but people tell me that WhatsUpGold Premium is better. I believe this is the best place to find the answer. So thanks in advance

If you're interested in WUG, then the appropriate comparison from SolarWinds is ipMonitor, not Orion. WUG and ipMonitor are both targeted at smaller customers without much need for scalability or extensibility and who are more generalist in their needs. Orion is intended for customers focused on the networking side, with scalability needs in the present or in the future. If the small-business description fits you, then you should definitely look at ipMonitor instead of WUG.

If the small business description doesn't fit you, then you should absolutely look at Orion. It's easy enough for smaller customers, but its functionality on the network performance side is much deeper. It also extends to NetFlow, VoIP, wireless, and application monitoring.
