Tracking Port usage over time

Hi,

Is there a way to create a report that will show utilization (or up / down status) for all ports on a given switch over a specific period? The purpose being so I know which ports on which switches have not been used in the last 30 days so we know that port is not in use at all and not just some one who is gone for a week.

Hi,

I think if you go to interface details, there is a field called "Last Status Change", not sure if this is available in reports as well but I would assume so...

You could filter a report on ports that are up and list the last status change column in the report.

I prefer to do it with the switchport mapper from the Engineers Toolset though...

There is no real report which like "graphs" you the up/down status of each port over a given time-period, the above mentioned would be the best you can get, anything else isnt really useful for your case anyhow.
