is there a way to limit which custom properties fields the user can see? or is it "all or nothing" deal?

I believe he was looking to limit the custom property fields from view correct? I don't think this is possible today.

If you're speaking about how the custom properties are listed as when you are editing a node in Node Managment, then yes it's all or nothing. The custom properties are specific to the nodes based on the field location in the Nodes table within the Orion database. If you're talking about limiting a users access to certain nodes based on the values within a certain property that can be handled as mentioned above with Account Limitation Builder.

Sure you can, snzvosluffy! You just need to head on over to the feature requests forum for the product in question. Since this would be used in all Orion modules, it's best placed within the NPM feature request forum. Simply create the idea and it'll be open for voting. Get enough interest (votes) in your request, and the devs may even implement it!

Once the FR has been raised, put a link to the idea thread in this one, so people can find it and support it.
