Is there a quick way to find a specific IP address in thousands of SolarWinds saved configuration files?

Need to determine if a specific IP address exists in any of the saved configuration files. Does anyone have a script that checks thru all config files or, is there another way to perform this function using Solarwinds? Thank you

Yes, go to the "Config Summary" page, in the "Search NCM" box type in the IP address your looking for. Hit "Search"...

If you also save your configs to your server filesystem, you can get Windows to search the relevant folders as well. This should catch configs that are older than your database retention setting, since this is a search of the filesystem and not of the database.
