Is it possible to trend or run a report on a vlan?
I'm running NPM v9.0
VLANS are treated like interfaces, so if you have them in Orion you can create reports on them.
That sounds cool. But a quick look around Orion tells me that I don't have any vlan's entered into SolarWinds- just nodes and interfaces. Though there are vlan assigned within IP Address Mgmt (IPAM). Thus, how would I go about adding vlan(s) into NPM?
Just like you add interfaces. Go to the node manager and list resources for a node and select the VLANS you want in Orion.
