The weekend we received an email for a server going down for around a minute. The company get cc'd into the emails and rightly so, they questioned why a server went down.
We did receive the email and looking on the event logs and on performance analysis, it doesn't shot that I turned off.
There is some loss of packets, but not a complete server being turned off.
So what exactly happened? Would have solarwinds simply not been in contact with the server at this point?
I spoke to networks and nothing failed over the weekend with respect to lines failing.
