Hi
I have read that the MIB used to display the last boot is the RFC1213-MIB:sysUpTime 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 MIB.
I also read that the counters for this MIB rollover or wrap around approx every 500 days and that there is supposed to be some sort of action carried out by Orion NPM to determine if the device rebooted or the counter wrapped around.
The reason I ask is that we have a device ( a Cisco 4500) that has an uptime of over 500 days but in the node details view in Orion NPM web GUI it says it's last boot was the end of November. Around the 500 day mark of uptime.
Is there supposed to be an action carried out by Orion to rectify the 500 day roll-over and if so is there a reason why it didn't do it on this box?
cheers
