How to get Custom Pollers to Update

Is there a manual method to get a custom poller to update it's status? I have a cp that says bgp status is idle however when I query the device with the Toolset the session is established. I have tried polling, rediscover and listing resources (the latter was a maybe it will or maybe it won't, idea) with no luck. How do I get the this alert to clear without moving the device from the custom poller?

There are two things you can do. The first one would be to open the Advanced Alerts, choose configure, disable the alert that triggered this, hit done, once back on the main screen hit F5 refresh, and this should clear. Then you can go back and enable the alert. The other way would be to manually remove an alert by opening the database manager, expanding the NetPerfMon database, right-clicking on the Active Alert table and selecting "query". Change the radial button to Read-Write and then select the "stale" alert and delete the row. Go back to your home page and then hit F5 to refresh the page. The alert should be gone.

Other pollers were also hung......Restarting Solarwinds Custom Mib Poller did the trick.
