I have about 145 nodes in SAM: 2019.4.1 | Orion Platform HF3: 2019.4 that are currently set to use Status & Response Time Agent rather than ICMP to report the node status. Yesterday morning, the on-call engineer was paged for all these nodes being down when they really weren't. Using ICMP for status in our environment is not a problem and I would prefer to have all the nodes to use it for reporting node status. Setting aside the reason why the agent on 145 nodes misreported status (guessing something temporarily stopped the service...unsure at this time), is there a more efficient way to use a SQL query/update to change the Status & Response Time to ICMP? I would prefer not to manually update each node via the List Resources interface if at all possible. Of course, I would take a backup of the SQL DB prior to making any changes. I'm sure there's a way to view the changes in the Database Manager application, but the DB schema is rather extensive and I'm not sure where to make updates.
