Upgrade cost tp v9.0

Will there be an upgrade cost to move to version 9 or will this be covered under an active maintenance/support agreement?

The reason I ask is that I have just received an email from Solarwinds offering a 15% discount when we move to the next version of Orion....

I received the same e-mail and was wondering the same thing:

I was recently reviewing your account and noticed that you are an Orion customer. Because of this, I wanted to offer you a special 15% off discount on Orion when you upgrade to the next version.

The wording makes me kind of suspicious - almost seems like a spam message?

If you have active maintenance you will be covered with the upgrade, unless you wish to increase your licenses or something of that nature.

Mark is correct. I think by "version" they meant license size, as in moving from an SL-2000 to an SLX

wish that 15% would have applied to an additonal poller license lol. 13k for a poller is just crazy for a edu.
