I deployed a NetPath service to a remote site in hopes of shedding some light in a past problem of Latency. The issue is slow performance to the area, and I believe due to the location of the remote site is right in the middle of Comcast/Charter convergence. I was hoping to trace the hops due to the lack of cooperation from the two company's.
When i get the results I am seeing the hop from our router to the IP address to the destination IP address with a jump in latency from 1ms to 24ms. (knew that already). I wanted to see the hops in between and the routes it was taking but there is no information. I believe that is due to the fact we have an EPL in place and its a private line. There is not internet access at the remote site as to all traffic is routed through our main circuit. How can I display the public routes that the probe has taken even though its a private line?
