Windows Services Monitoring Need

Hi all,

I need to monitor windows services like SQL Service and IIS service. can we monitor the same in Solarwinds Orion Network Performance monitor? If not available can we update any patches for those monitoring? thanks in advance

That is not a function of Orion NPM, it sounds more like an Orion APM function. We don't use Orion APM at my company but that might be something you want to look at.

Service monitoring is not a function of Orion NPM. SolarWinds APM (soon to be named SAM) is what you should take a look at. It functions as both a stand-alone product as well as a fully integrated module with Orion NPM. It does service monitoring as well as a lot of other great things such as URL monitoring, etc. We use it and I highly recommend it.
