orion network atlas - Connectnow?

I use the atlas Solarwind with the option "ConnectNow" but to connect my computers I get the message "0 discovered links mapped"

Is there any procedure that is needed or something extra.

Were the devices added in a discovery or manually? If they are not included in a discovery it won't learn any topology information (a function I understand will be changing in a future release)

Also since these are computers are the network devices they are connected to in monitoring? All these devices need to be in monitoring, via SNMP, and in a discovery for connect now to work.
