Monitoring BackupExec with Orion

I know I've seen some spotty information floating around... but my searches are coming up to no avail.

Does anyone have a really great way of monitoring BackupExec with Orion? I haven't started to really explore my options yet, but knowing that BackupExec has the abilities to send SNMP traps, I'm sure theres some very cool ways to develop status graphs of current jobs, tape serial number tracking, etc.

Rather than reinventing the wheel completely, does anyone want to share any cool ways they've integrated BackupExec with Orion?

As far as I
can see BackupExec can be configured to send an SNMP Trap to Orion when a
backup has successfully completed. Information on how to configure this within
Backup Exec is found here:

Also, information on how to setup the SNMP Trap service on the Backup Exec host
is found here:

but I don't see how it would be possible to show status graphs, etc... within Orion from a trap filter/alert?

I recall awhile back when browsing forums that someone had developed or was developing a custom resource for BackupExec (possibly using Custom HTML) that would read the traps and show current stats on the jobs running. Again - I have not looked much into this yet, though I probably should have. I have read that there might be ways (newer versions of BackupExec?) to have it send periodic traps during the job process to deliver status.

In any case, possible or not, I was interested to see how people had integrated BackupExec with Orion, if at all.
