Custom component monitor?

Hi all!

I am using SolarWinds Orion, and I need to monitor an FTP server on a custom port (eg. 10021).

What is the correct way to accomplish this?

It seems that with SAM Settings >> Component Monitor Wizard I cannot create a network probe on some TCP/UDP port.

You can use the FTP User Experience Monitor and just change the port number to 10021

so I don't need to create ANOTHER component monitor, I just need to modify his port.

This will not modify "FTP User Experience Monitor" globally, but only for the specific node, correct?

You can create a copy of that template and rename it so it does not affect it globally.
