Minor Releases

Would it be possible that whenever Solarwinds makes a minor change to Orion they could display it on the forums and also stop distributing the SQL sp3 with the download. It's a pain in the rear that we have to download 140Mb file to find out if it's a new release.
Anyone who agrees reply to theis post.
Thanks

I agree, I'd like to see an updated "Program Updates" page with any new features or bug fixes
listed here:
solarwinds.net/.../OrionNPMUpdates.htm
This could be limited to customers with Orion support contracts if this information was
deemed a competitor marketing risk.
Alternatively a text file in the downloaded installation zip with rev. level history and
or bug fixes would do the trick as well.

Posting the Build level and/or Post Date would be a big help and would avoid one having to go through the download to find out.

This is a terrific idea and it would certainly make things a lot easier for us.

Your right !! Excellect points.
I was unaware that the SQL Server install was included in the download. I'll get that changed right away. As for the program updates or readme, or whatever. I'll check into that also.
Thanks,
Don
