File size monitor and dynamic file name

I am using File Size monitor and it works okay with a static file name but was wondering how can I script it for a dynamic file name. ie

the file name is normaly YYYYMMDD.dbf and this changes on a daily basis.

The server is windows 2003

I don't think you can do it with FileSize monitor. But you could use one of the Script monitors and set threshold on its statistic value.

For example PowerShell script would look like this:

$filename = (Get-Date -format yyyyMMdd) + ".dbf"

$path = $args[0] + $filename

Write-Host 'Statistic: ' (Get-Item $path).Length

and as script arguments, you would pass c:\somePath
