Is there a way to delete or even edit notes that are on a node's summary page? We are able to create them, just not remove them once they are "stale."
Right now I do not think there s a way on the GUI to remove the stale notes from your Node details page.
The only way I'm seeing to get around this is to remove rows from the NodeNotes table on your database..
Just make sure to take note of the NodeID to ensure that no other notes will be removed
ie. delete from NodeNotes where NodeNoteID = '3'
You can go to Settings --> Manage Nodes --> Change Group By to No Grouping and then select the Nodes you don't want and delete them.

It would be nice if this feature would be made available so users won't have to go to the database and modify it from there.

This is an issue I raised a while ago and I was hoping it would be addressed. Our NOC members would like to use the notes option but they can't as they will not be able to delete those notes as they have no access to the database. Notes option needs improvement and also ability to delete a note from the web front end.
The Node Notes field is a bit of a waste of time really, I prefer putting in a Custom Property which can be used for Comments

As stated above, it has to be done from SolarWinds DB manager.
