Well, we've just upgraded to v10.1 here so I'm probably going to have a lot of questions. I did search for most of them and this one I haven't seen an answer/question for.
Is there a way to 'ignore' or remove the SNMP r/w requirement? We have a lot of older machines that were not configured to standards (via acquisition and otherwise) and currently on these older machines we do not use full SNMP GETs - we use SW completely for polling only (right now). If we do decide to use SETs it will be on new machines going forward, so we will not go and change SNMP communities on everything..
Currently, if you add a node or edit properties and save, it will fail SNMP validation since you don't seem to be able to leave the R/W field blank. I would also like for the field to be displayed if I choose to enter anything, since I can't tell what I am actually typing/pasting in there and I can see people typo'ing and putting in the wrong information if they can't see what is being put in. Only admins should be doing this anyhow, so i don't care if it's displayed.
When i update a node now, it fails SNMP validation and I get the following error:

I was testing this while posting the message and received the error, so i may as well throw this in, since it's related.
Thanks!
