add MIB Raritan Dominion PX8 to Orion 9.1

Question

Hi,

I would like to add a Raritan Dominion PX8 into my Orion management system.

but when i try to add it, Orion said that it cannot list all the resources cause it is not supported.

Is it a way to add all the MIB's from this device to the MIB database of orion ?

i try to use the Universal Device Poller from orion but i don't know all the OID used by the Raritan.

Could you help ?

I "think" so.  The MIB database file is just one big file you download anyway.  It works with their products that reference MIBs (Toolset, Orion, etc).

I don't know enough to answer whether or not the MIB database file has changed since 7.x, but I wouldn't think so.  Someone from SW will have to chime on that one to confirm.

The problem is i'm not currently a solarwinds client 9.1. i'm using the version 7 but i have donwload the 9.1 trial to see if it will work with that version. version 7 doesn't have a Universal Device Poller included.

Is my Customer ID will work event if this ID is pointing to a version 7 ?

Open a ticket with support, upload them the file.  They'll have it in their next MIB file release (new one every week).
