SNMP Fails on web page, but works for SNMP walk.

I am trying to add a node to solarwinds. When i set up everything it says that SNMP fails. What I don't understand is that I can walk the node im trying to add from the solarwinds sever with no problems. So i know its not a firewall or anything else. Its like Solarwinds itself just can't communicate with this device. Any suggestions?

I apologize for not having the EXACT oid of the top of my head, but when you verify SNMP from the web page, it only pulls the systemname OID (I think. If not that, then something else just as basic). Some devices have lots of OID values, but not that one which MAY BE why you are seeing it fail.

Are you performing SNMP walk from the same poller and are you using the same comm string,port and poller on webpage when you are adding the node?

I am performing the walk from the same poller and server with all the same credentials. I have a feeling it is missing that OID like Leon talked about. Ill open a trouble ticket on it. Thanks for you help.
