Would netpath show L2 devices in the path? I'm only seeing L3, but i thought it would include L2 if it had the community string.

Even if SolarWinds NPM knew the L2 devices SNMP community string -- it still has no way of knowing that it is in the path unless it operates at L3 at some point in the path, and cooperates with NetPaths traffic.
Edit: This does however bring up an interesting idea... having the ability to sketch in, or manually place objects / nodes in certain parts of the path. That though, I wouldn't see working very fluidly (or having much benefit.) What would happen if the path changed, and now SolarWinds doesn't know where to place this manually inserted node?..
