2019.4 Syslog Issue

I just updated my server yesterday and things seemed fine until I chose a different option to look at syslogs. Under Alerts & Activity, Syslogs, I get the following view. It shows syslog messages.

server/.../syslog

If I go to My Dashboards, and choose Syslog from the Menu Bar entry, I get the old syslog view with no messages.

I tried deleting the old website and ran the configuration again but I get the same results. There is a Log Viewer menu option available, but that is for an additional paid option.

Hello,

During the upgrade there is an option to move from the legacy SYSLOG viewer to Orion Log Viewer (OLV) which is what you are seeing when navigating to https://server/ui/orionlog/logviewer/now/1hours/0/syslog

Just delete the old syslog from your menu bar as it is no longer used.

When I did this install on new a application server MS2019 hardware in my QA environment, I did not get an "option" to install this or not, do you happen to have a screen shot from where you choose the option?

I am wondering if it only gives you the option on an upgrade on existing hardware??

Am I missing something?
