We have a couple of nodes that will randomly "lose" all of their interfaces. I can find entries in the event log showing when the interfaces are removed, but no reason is stated. Is anyone aware of common reasons this might happen? Are there more detailed logs I can look through to find the reason?
Usually a few days later we notice the interfaces are missing so we add them back but we lose all history of traffic, statistics, etc (but this is expected if the interface is removed).
Also, a possibly related issue, possibly not, if I remove an interface manually, I don't see an entry in the audit events log.
Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
