On the default Virtualization Summary page shouldn't the "Hardware Health Overview" pie chart only show ESX Hosts? I know the page doesn't have a limitation on it, but it is a Virtualization Summary view type, so one would think it would only show the Hardware Health of items related to Virtualization... Wouldn't be a big deal if we could just put a SWQL/SQL filter on the resource like we can on most other resources in Orion, but that isn't implemented for some strange reason on this particular resource...
Is this by design, or is this an oversight that is being corrected soon? I would just build a page with a limitation on it but I can't figure out what to limit it by that works. If I limit the page by vCenter server (figuring that'll catch all of the datacenters, clusters, hosts, datastores, and vm's controlled by it) then the Hardware Health chart still isn't filtered and it breaks a bunch of other resources found on the Virtualization Summary page.
Do we really need to put in a feature request to allow the pie charts to be filtered at the resource level or is that in the works? It just seems so natural it feels kind of silly that we would have to request something like that...
