Removing old Volumes

Hi all

When a disk changes on a server, NPM stops gathering statistics for it, and you have to manually do a 'List Resources' and add the new disk. This leaves an additional disk which you could delete in the NPM console on the server by right clicking on it and clicking delete.

However the ability to do this in the console has been removed in the version we're using. Anyone know how I can delete an old volume now, without removing and re-adding the whole node?

I'm running 2011.1.2 SP1

To Remove old Volume (and Interfaces)

Go into Settings> Manage Nodes, then you can expand out the Node, select the Volumes (and Interfaces) that are no longer listed in List Resources, and select Delete.

Had to Google to figure out how to do this simple task.

Didn't help that I've switched to the Manage Entities page a while back...

In general, that page is much more user-friendly/useful than the legacy Mange Nodes page, but...

is there really no way to delete old volumes without switching back to the legacy page???
