IE6 and popups makes Orion Jump

Hi

A customer of mine is stuck with IE6. I have now upgraded to latest version 9.5 SP4.

When they hoover over a node in the webview you get a "popup" windows that display short information about the node. I like that very much. BUT - in IE6 the whole page jumps halvf a row. Resulting in a lot of clicks on wrong node.

Is there a way to fix it? Or how do I disable the popups in the easiest way?

 

FYI: The same thing happens when I try solarwinds demo-site with IE6.

It's a bit of a hack, but it's possible:

 

Edit the file “C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\js\NetObjectTips.js” and remove the following lines:
    $("a[tooltip!='processed'][href*='NetObject=']").livequery(function() {
        this.tooltip = 'processed';
        $.swtooltip(this);
    });
