How convert trap to Solarwinds alert

Hi,

We have a plan to integrate few third party tool with SAM using SNMP traps.Support is saying that there is no way through which you can convert trap to Solarwinds alert.Please let us know if there is any way to convert selected trap to alerts.

If you are using the new Orion log viewer/analyzer you can use the Orion alerting engine.

Hi,

We are only having SAM 2019.04 and its associated trap viewer.Receiving traps in trap viewer.Any alternative way to convert the same into alerts.

No way to add it to the Orion alerting using the old traps that's why SolarWinds created Orion Log Viewer.

but can he not use default log viewer(when selected during install and which also creates separate DB instance) that comes in with limited features and then create alert out of it?
