Upgrade version from 2019.4 to 2020.1 - with an Eval license of SAM

Hello - we've been advised to upgrade our Orion deployment from 2019.4 to 2020.1

NMP , NCM , NTA - potential issue is that SAM is on an eval license ? can we still upgrade ?

Is Eval license expired ? If license is still active i don't see any issue in doing so, it should be as good as a normal upgrade.

As @vinay.by mentioned, so long as the evaluation license has not expired, you should be able to upgrade just fine.

If it has expired, you will need to follow these steps:

Backup your Orion and FlowStorage databases (assuming you're on NTA 4.4 as was, or newer)
If possible, ensure you have a recent, good backup of your application server (or take a snapshot just prior to the upgrade, if you are running on a virtual platform).
Either uninstall SAM - Expired evaluations aren't doing you any good anyway, or purchase and apply a suitable license.
Run your 2020.2 upgrade!
